Growing up on the beautiful west coast of British Columbia in the areas of Mission, Maple Ridge, Abbotsford, White Rock, Vancouver and finally settling in sunny South Surrey/White Rock, has afforded me a breadth of knowledge in many of the Lower Mainland's wonderfully diverse communities.
Having the opportunity to travel abroad after University, I was fortunate to witness the beauty of other countries and cultures, but the draw of the ocean and mountains of the Pacific North West (and my mom) always called me home.
After spending many years living in beautiful Vancouver, I've now settled in sunny South Surrey/White Rock with my family - my husband Nathan, our 3 beautiful children, and our newest addition, our crazy Goldendoodle named Georgie. And while I feel incredibly lucky to be raising my family in the small-town feel beach community of "SouthRock", I miss Vancouver a lot and look for any excuse to head back into the city for a seawall bike or stroll, a work day at the office, dinner at Chambar or Nightingale or visiting one of her many beautiful beaches.
